Dr. Melvin N. Allen Sr.
Lead Pastor
Dr. Melvin N. Allen Sr. is the Lead Pastor of It Starts Within Church. With a BBA from Temple University and a PhD in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary, he brings a rich blend of business acumen and spiritual leadership. Before ministry, he worked in tech and founded Small Micro Systems. Since 2001, he's served as Pastor of New Mickle Baptist Church and has been deeply involved in international missions and education. He and his wife Sheila, Director of It Starts Within Ministries, have been married for 50+ years and are dedicated to nurturing faith and community.
